About us · Miramar, FL

Glingua.

A small crew that takes your consent forms and contracts seriously — because a mistranslated clause isn't a typo, it's a problem someone has to clean up later.

Where this started

We got tired of fixing other people's translations.

Glingua started the way a lot of useful things do — with a mess somebody had to clean up. A clinic in Broward County had run a stack of patient consent forms through a cheap online tool, and at filing time the IRB sent them all back. Wrong terms, dropped lines, formatting that fell apart on page two.

One of us had spent years as a clinical research coordinator. The other had a paralegal background and a stubborn habit of reading every defined term twice. We took on that pile, did it properly, and the clinic asked if we could just… keep doing it.

“A consent form isn't a place to guess. The person signing it deserves to actually understand what they're agreeing to.”

So that's the whole idea. We don't try to be the biggest agency in Florida. We stay small on purpose so the same people who quote your project are the ones reading every line of it. No mystery handoffs, no anonymous contractor in a queue somewhere.

These days we work across 40+ languages with a vetted network of subject-matter linguists — but the rule hasn't changed since that first stack of forms: two human passes minimum, certified when you need it, and a revision on us if anything's off.

What we actually mean by careful

Four things we won't bend on.

Non-negotiable
01

A person reads every clause

Machine drafts are fine as a starting point. They're not fine as a final document. Someone who knows the field reads your file front to back before it leaves us.

02

The right specialist, not just the right language

Clinical work goes to translators who've worked the clinical side. Contracts go to people trained on contracts. Knowing Spanish isn't the same as knowing a deposition.

On the record
03

Certification that holds up

When you need a signed certificate of accuracy for a court or an IRB, you get one that's accepted — not a disclaimer that quietly puts the risk back on you.

04

Straight answers on price and timing

You get a flat per-project quote, usually the same day, and a turnaround you can plan around. If we can't hit your deadline, we'll tell you up front instead of after.

How we're built

Small team, big language coverage.

  • 40+Languages we translate, from Spanish and Haitian Creole to Mandarin and Arabic.
  • 2Human passes minimum on every file — translator, then a second native-speaker reviewer.
  • 1Shared glossary per client, so defined terms stay identical across every document.
  • $0For a revision if something needs fixing — we'd rather get it right than win the argument.

Now that you've met us

Send over what you're working on.

Tell us the documents, the language pairs and your deadline, and we'll come back with a flat per-project price — usually within the business day. No call-center maze; the note lands with the people who actually do the work.
